  • Added function request: Message when you are quoted.

    Sasq & Jesse,
With all the free time I'm sure you have right now

Is it possible to add the functionality to send a message (email, or popup) if a user is quoted in a thread.
I mean to the quoted user?

    Just a thought.

    Well euhm...

If a user is quoted, it will most likely be a quote from the same thread (thus a thread to which the user is subscribed)... So he should get a mail notification as there is a reply in this thread...

I'm not sure this is easy to add though.

logistically not so bad, there might even be a hack for it.
Chuck, you know my schedule, remind me again sometime in april with a bump to the thread or remind me other ways.

This will offcourse mean that when someone dont want the wic...poster to know that he's been quoted will manually quote instead of using the fancy button

So we agree it isn't April yet or do we bump this thread to Religiuous and Political?

I think that comment was out of line. We should all take a step back and realize that we're talking April in the astral plane...

                          This is all moot.
                          It can't possibly be April.
