if they could release a card that has the price of a GF2 MX (or radeon LE), just a bit faster then a Kyro2 (or GF2 GTS) and have some (if not all) of the DX8 instructions, it would be great. It would have such an advantage over all the budget cards, and be just as fast as the higher-end ones plus have DX8. this is basically what a GF3 MX would be like, except that's not suppost to be coming out for a little while (4-6months).
so if Matrox was releasing a card similar to this soon) it would be sweet.

chip spec's (my specs )
core: 200mhz with 3 pixelpipelines and 2 or 3 TMU's. full DX8 support.
TNL: 40-60 million (and whatever else it needs).
Memory: 200mhz DDRFCRAM (is this still a possability?) and whatever "special tweaks, that eliminate bandwidth"


i just thought of this the other day, and though it would be really really sweet if Matrox (or anyone else) could make this card.

Heatsink and Fan - how about integrated dual-purpose carbon nanotube?

Design the processor using carbon nanotube interconnects, and transistors. Can act as memory, processor and heat conduit all at the same time... And be smaller than currently produced chips...

Total "Fusion" in the design...
