They have done with every new chip, even with the G450, so I think it's a sure bet. I think you'll have to wait quite some time until these appear, though, unfortunately.

The Marvel version of the G450 was first available almost a whole year after the announcement.

So the "quite some time" could be a very "loooong time".

Maybe they will change their schedule for this time. People are waiting for a long time. I know that if matrox doesn't release a new marvel until next october, I will go to Kyro II + video capture card (Miro DC30+ or any other).

if they announce the g550 soon, i guess it will be some time before they announce the marvel version, why would they realease a product like that only 3-5 months after the 450etv?
