You mean that nVidia owns now "Fusion" technology ? How is that possible ? Are we talking about the former Matrox employees, who are nV staff now ?

We are talking about technology theft... not just employees here.

What Happened to the law suite

What happened to the law suite matrox made against Nvidia? I searched the web for info regarding it and i could not find anything besides a mention of it in an Nvidia quarterly report(don' remember which one) Other subsequent reports have no mention of the law suite. Was it settled out of court? Shouldn't nvidia as a public company inform its shareholders on the progress of the case?

Generally when an employ works in a company whatever he makes at company time is considered IP of the company. Isn't that the case? If so how can matrox prove that and get commision on its IP if it is being used in any current NV products.

Just checked again the latest Nvidia report

          Here is the outcome:

On February 22, 2000, Graphiques Matrox, Inc. and Systemes Electroniques
Matrox Ltd. (collectively "Matrox") filed suit against the Company in the
Superior Court, Judicial District of Montreal, Province of Quebec, Canada. The
suit alleged that the Company improperly solicited and recruited Matrox
employees and encouraged Matrox employees to breach their Matrox confidentiality
and/or non-competition agreements. The suit by Matrox sought, among other
things, certain injunctive relief. The trial of this matter occurred during
April 2001. On July 12, 2001, the court issued its ruling in favor of the
Company and dismissed all of Matrox's claims. Matrox has not appealed this
ruling and the time for appeal passed on August 13, 2001.

Anyone has anything to add ???
