Of course people would like to believe, but the fact is that because they haven't seen anything from them and don't know what's up with them, believing is getting harder every day. I for one would be very pleased to see some (basically) Finnish graphics technology giving a bitchslap to this nVidia-ridden world, and in fact I do believe that the Boys will get their chance. But I don't think it is fair to expect everyone to share your view when you can't provide them with any proof of it. It's like saying that you know Santa Claus but he has forbidden you to tell anything about him. Anyways, if they can get those samples to the press and their tech is as good as it should be, then they should have a pretty good chance of making it, right?

umm... okay, here we go... this will be very off topic and long one so it is time to visit on fridge before continuing.

well, actually there is couple of other problems too... like when I heard that things aren't going like planned, I tried to make clear to everyone that there is no use of waiting anything. press samples don't solve anyone's problems (except maybe their next gens development funding, but that's another story.) And still ppl keep waiting and waiting and waiting. and now, when nothing happens, the whole pile sh*t comes to my head. And some of them are saying me as {you know what company} religionist and that kind of BS. (they really don't bother reading my comments about SiS, ATi, Matrox and PowerVR. they just saw that I visitted some place where {you know what company} held a speech and start bitching me about it.)

Still, it wasn't suprise... I was prepared for bashing as long as last Oct. when I heard first time that everything isn't going like planned. I took a helluva risk when starting to all this under my real name, but I don't complain about it.

well, If something positive is in all this, these 9 months (little bit over actually.) have teached a lot to me in many areas. In any case, you nor anyone else will see my comments about {you know what company} at Muro boards before It is a time. (And then I guarantee, there is no one who could miss that.)

and yes, I am a fan boy. I don't deny that. I am more like proud about that. but still I'll try to keep things in reality basis you know. (well, we have a great example at Muro from excelent 100% fanboy. if you know who I mean). If I would be a 100% pure Fan boy, I wouldn't be here waiting about Matrox next gen nor at Beyond3D waiting for first tests from SiS33x series.

so what we learn about this?? Don't ever show publically that you are on {you know what company} side, if you aren't sure what you are talking about and you self confidency is strong as paper bag. They are so easy bash, but much harder to stand behind them.

anyways... It will be great year to consumers. Eventhough {you know what company} would still miss the boat.

Nappe1, I hope you didnt think I was bashing you, It realy wasnt my intent.

I think the technology (you know who) has is great, and I realy wish they would get it out.

My reasoning was that they have had a great hit, what with production that they thought guaranteed to go ahead was canceled. That must be a problem, as they would have banked on having money comming in from sales to help fund on-going research.

They must now be looking for more money from somewhere, and with their track record, its probably quite hard, especially in todays economical climate.

If they get 'press samples' out, that would be very very good for them. Even if they cant produce/sell the chips/cards based on their technology, it would make finding funding much easier. It would also give them some credibility back.

Im quite sad it didnt work out for them this time, and am still hoping they can continue their work.

well, let me say this once more... when comparing MURC to other boards when talking about {you know what company}, their reliability is like a sky high. I never found anyone bashing here anything for nothing (except nVidia, but that's ok )

Of Course everyone have their opinions and when talkin about {you know what company}, they are usually very strong ones and I don't have anything against that. (and I wouldn't call as pessimist if someone has skeptism against {you know what company}.)

but I really don't like a way to think like "they can't do nada, because nVidia / ATi owns j000".
