    FYI,

"all" current GF4MX cards have 64 mb with 4 chips, 2 on each side. Each mem chip has 100 pins, whether hynix or Samsung (30 pins on the long side and 20 pins on the short side, and each chip has four sides )

Can you tell me what's written on those chips?

          Franky,

you can see for yourself <a href="http://www.digit-life.com/articles/gf4mx/index4.html" target="_blank">here</a>

On a sidenote, if you count the front there seems to be five sides to each chip, but maybe there´s another side to this. You de-side.

I would check what's writen on them except that i'd have to remove the heatsinks covering the the modules themselves...How hard are they to remove anyway???...

Might as well add some bigger ones while i'm at it anyways....... have some nice socket 370 heatsinks hanging around which with a few modifications, would make some nice ram heatsinks....
              note to self...

Careful, if you o/c that card too much, nVidia may sue you for copying the GF4

Actually, to qualify as a GeForce 4, the board must not fit on a lot of motherboards...
