  • RIP The Crystal Ball

One more week, and The Crystal Ball goes into hibernation?

Yeah, but it sure was a great place to share our frustration...
Let us return to the moon, to stay!!!

      why?

We can still debate about and evangalise over the Parhella 2, or Parhella MAX. Dream up weird and wonderful ways of creating even better hardware with it.

Oh don't worry there has to be a die shrink and at least one or two more cards based on this GPU.

I can see it ... the 'Benchmarks Forum' will be the future.

I dream about the time when Hall of Fame @ Madonion.com will be topped by Parhelia's clones.

Does that mean the Parhelia MAX will be released 6 months from now?
Does that mean the die shrunk, fully DX9 Parhelia II will be released 1 year from now?
or... is there some other super secret special mojo stuff Matrox is working on???

Hmmm... Just saw this on [H]:

Virtual Zone looks at one of my all time favorite cards, the ATi Radeon 8500 All-In-Wonder 128mb board. If you are the kinda guy that is into all around goodness from your video card, these things are hard to beat. I am sure eventually there will be a high end card to come along with the same features, but until then, this is it.

Does this mean Matrox is "withholding the truth" with regards to the eTV version... or ... will the features be standard across all Parhelia models?
Well I guess everyone is right: Long Live The Crystal Ball
