    Where's the BGA memory???

    Agree with ya 100%.

They bid on something that doesn't and will not exist.

If they know and bid, they are stupid.

If they don't and bid, they are uniformed...

Why would Nvidia need to eat crow? They never said matrox couldn't beat them.

I personally think you need to find all those Nvidiots (I hate that word) and make them eat the crow!

Until we see actual working hardware and it is available on the selves then it is just vaporware. For all we know it can go the way of the NV25. And nVidia has been good at not even living up to the offical specs much less these rumored vaporware specs.

The one thing that does kinda' make me wonder a little bit is the apparant lack of a "lightspeed memory" type section in the block diagram.

Granted, they've got a good amount of bandwidth to play with; however, the nVidia memory IP is certainly very efficient, so the raw bandwidth specs do no tell the whole picture.

If the 3DChipset rumour is accurate...and NV30 is 128-bit, rather than 256-bit...and they're planning to use 900 MHz. DDR....AND Parhelia doesn't really have very much in the way of an advanced memory controller, then it will be interesting to see how things shake out in the end.

Aside from that, I'm extremely impressed with the info that I've seen. The other thing that also wasn't very clear from the xbit Russian page was the release schedule. It _seemed_ like they were saying that it would become available in/around the time of R300/NV30....But at the same time, it seemed as if they were saying that it would be difficult to assess the performance without R300/NV30....

I'm sure most of this will be answered on Tuesday.
