Yep, Haig says: "This chip does have accelerated AA 3D lines."
What the heck happened to this thread?
Edit: Seems to be another case of time warping... TDB's post was first, now it's last... The same can be seen for example in thop's posting here: http://forums.murc.ws/showthread.php?s=&threadid=33018Last edited by Tempest; 15 May 2002, 10:32.

I think thats more related to the actual servers clock being out then an actual bug in the forumJuu nin to iro
English doesn't borrow from other languages. It follows them down dark alleys, knocks them over, and goes through their pockets for loose grammar.

AA lines support only makes sense for the chip to be able to compete in the CAD arena. This is one of those features that supposedly separates the GF cards from the higher end workstation parts that nV makes."..so much for subtlety.."
System specs:
Gainward Ti4600
AMD Athlon XP2100+ (o.c. to 1845MHz)

yup! i deleted the original post, to see if it would help.
the timestamp on my post was 16 may 4.06, and each time i tried to post, it said that there must be 30 seconds between each post, so i couldn´t post until 16 may 4.06 + 30 seconds, so i figured that deleting the post would allow me to post again, it didn´t.
if you are wondering what my post was about, i asked about "Antialiased 3D vector support", and if it was suitable for gaming as a kind of edge-AA?
*Chip specifications only: Actual board-level products and/or drivers may not enable or support all features. Feature support may vary across
can anyone tell me what AA-lines is, im unfamilliar with the cad-market, my guess is that it is either some sort of AA for wireframe, or some sort of VERY high quality edge-AA, if my second guess is correct, will it be usefull for gaming too(provided that they don´t disable the feature on sub 2000$ cards), i want my games to look GOOD.This sig is a shameless atempt to make my post look bigger.
