I'd buy the most feature-rich model I could afford. Sadly, right now that's none of the above. Guess I went to the dark-side well one too many times.
    "..so much for subtlety.."

    System specs:
    Gainward Ti4600
    AMD Athlon XP2100+ (o.c. to 1845MHz)

I'm a bit unsure as to whether TriHead will be common. I just want a fast G400 anyway, so a DH card would do (looks like the 3rd external RAMDAC will be a poor effort). I've currently got 2x19, 1x17 and 1x14" monitors at my house, so TriHead is a possibility...

The SurroundGaming is obviously a main selling point for Parhelia, but then DualHead was the same (probably more so) for the G400 - yet they made SingleHead versions of those. This external RAMDAC seems like it could be removed for a low-end card or OEM. I'm sure that anything over $300 will have SurroundGaming.

How hard would it be to have a third 400MHz RAMDAC added?

I just wish they would have made the third head a bit more featureful. It seems a bit too limited for anything except 3 scren gaming from what has been said.

I'd said previously that TriHead seems orientated towards SurroundGaming, Haig confirmed this of sorts somewhere on the Matrox GHW forum.

You want true Tri/QuadHead - get G450 MMS
