I know they don't share their fabs .. but there is a first time for everything !!

Has anyone tried asking them ? or is it an official company-policy ?

It's a hell of a lot of work is what it is.

      1) Selling FAB space is a royal pain in the ass. It's like renting a room in your house. Even if you wanted to do it, it affects the rest of your house, your ability to speak freely, what kind of things you even have out in the open...

      2) I think Intel can make plenty more $$ making their own stuff than they could by selling space to others.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

I'm not so sure that R300 will be manufactured on a .15u process either...If I'm not mistaken, the roadmap that has been referenced also has/had the R300 coming out much earlier than the Fall of 2002.

I would be willing to bet that the R300's that are floating around are probably done on .15u...and possibly underclocked.

I'd be really shocked if they don't use .13u when it's all said-n-done.
