In the CPU world they went from 0.18 micron to 0.13 micron the size of the CPU decreased almost 50%
the Video chips are now 0.15 micron and they will go in the future to 0.13 micron
Matrox didn't put a 2.0 pixelshader in, because of the lack of die space.
Now the 0.15 to 0.13 shrink won't be as big as the 0.18 to 0.13
but if you take a look at the "specs" of the NV30 and R300
they have both 8 Rendering Pipelines ...
and the they will both 2.0 pixelshaders...
Hell the R300 will have 4 yes 4 of them ...
pretty science fiction to me, maybe a 0.11 proces or something
