I was trying ot get a month off for the honemoon (a moon is a month right?). I could only get the 3.5 weeks, and two days of that is unpaid!

Im going to have a lot of reading to do when I get back. I hope there are at least a few real benchmarks up before I go though.

Looks like it could be the 18th – let’s hope so.

Not that this is important but I must admit Parhelia does have a unique clean space age look to it. If anything it deserves the prize for the best looking Graphics card.

Why are the AGP slot pins blurred out???

Maybe there is some kind of tape on the top of the pins, just to protect them while shipping?

I think it's just crappy JPEG compression and poor lighting. On the CHIP site there's other pictures that show the AGP plug clearly.

why does the dude on the box look stoned?

Must be sensory overload with surround gaming

Ouch on the price...what happened to the $400 price point? 550 Euros=$519 USD.

Why is it called tourist season, if we can't shoot at them?

Can't be - look at the pins of the chips near the DVI connectors, and the pads of the empty space at the top middle of the card - loads of very fine lines clear as a bell.

Can't believe it's tape either - there's more sensitive parts on PCBs than the edge connector?

Perhaps it's special grease that makes the electrons move faster through the AGP slot?
