Matrox announced that all card flavor are going to sport 3 heads. only the 256mb will have a higher ram/gpu clock frequency.

Where did they announce that Ssin? I don't think they said anything about future clock speeds.

Someone posted a link to an interview of some Matrox representative. It's been the second time they said something about 256 version having higher gpu/ram speed. I know my information may be inacurate.. but I have the feeling it is accurate.
If someone else read the same interview as me, please post a link.

This is what the Matrox representative say, he doessn't mention clock-speeds, but it will be logical to have a little higher speeds on the 256Mb version, perhaps 250Mhz?

O.K. ... that was the wrong article. The one I was thinking about is the Dan Wood interview at ExtremeTech.

Dan Wood: The Parhelia will ship in a number of configurations. The 128MB retail product ("R" version) will have core clocks of 220MHz and memory clocks running at 275MHz. The 128MB bulk product will have core clocks of 200MHz and memory clocks at 250MHz ("B" version). Later in the summer, Matrox will be releasing 64MB and 256MB versions of the card, which will also be speed-binned, and it is likely that the 256MB version of the board will offer the highest clocks. ...

No specific clock speed was stated for the 256 MB version. I recall that Haig independently said that the 256 MB card wouldn't be clocked faster than the 128 MB.

Me too. I don't have even two monitors, let alone three. Triple-head feature is waste of money for me. I would like to have higher clock speed instead of TH.

Just seen one in action at one of MURC's members (Edward), and I'm sold. Forget fps. This thing is playable at framerates that will make any nvidia card look like a slideshow and an image quality that will just blow your mind. wow wow wow. I want one and I want it now!

So you're saying it's kinda like this:

instead of
100001010010001010010?

ie- frames seem more evenly spaced than on other cards?

Exactly. When it does 25-30fps, it doesn't stutter or anything. In fact, if there wasn't this lil counter in the corner, you wouldn't believe it was running like that.
