Tile Rendering in combination with Parhelia's memory bandwith? wouldnt that be quite a waste?

but of course it would be a good solution for a cheap gaming card, less memory bandwith, better bandwith usage...

but best would be 3 p2 chips, one for each SG-Monitor, that would even work fine with parhelia 1

Not if you had a monster of a tiler that could use all that bandwidth...

Whatever they release, i hope it will be good enough to be put in the dual-hammer system i shall (hopefully) get by the end of this year

but at the moment even the parhelia is an option, since im not into gaming that much anymore...

Somehow I don't feel like Matrox' going to make a big come back after what they did. They lost credibility big time and even here in the MURC ppl are speaking of not buying a M card. They need to do ALOT better than nV and ATI to make it happen in term of performance, quality AND price. Well they could start up by lowering their current stock of Parhelia, it should get them back some money to invest.

It seems that matrox will end up competing with 3DLabs in the professional workstation market with their P. and with the ATI Rage 3D (one hell of a card ) in the OEM market with their Gx50 series
            no matrox, no matroxusers.

if matrox has a 3d part they would be silly not to release a gamers version to cash in on extra revenue from similar prodects.

After taking a peek behind the stage on early december, I highly doubt both these for very same reason to the A) as well as the B)...

parhelia 8x with higher clock and fixed core (banding, FAA, aniso, speed, etc) is enough for me.

not gonna happen, it will be totally new product in 6 - 12 months or nothing new at all for gamers.
why feel compelled to stick with matrox now that ATI have got their act together other than triple head?(akay drivers but they are almost there)
