I would be interested by a fixed and speed enhanced P2 myself.
The current feature set is just fine, my requirements would be:
- Fix all current problems
- Perfect FAA-16x (no artifacts or missed items, make it work with stencil buffers)
- Enable at least 8x aniso
- It should be fast enough to allow me to play current games (excluding things like Doom 3) at 1600x1200 with a good frame rate at 8x aniso and with FAA-16x activated
- Impeccable Linux support
Even at $500 I’m sold.Last edited by Eon; 2 February 2003, 13:00.

Hmmm, eDRAM was usually considered very expensive.
look at the price of the high end xeon chips with what, 8 meg max per chip?
even at 0.09 it would be pretty small yield per wafer...
I'd love to see this be true tho, it may be possible, but i'm no microelectronics geek...PC-1 Fractal Design Arc Mini R2, 3800X, Asus B450M-PRO mATX, 2x8GB B-die@3800C16, AMD Vega64, Seasonic 850W Gold, Black Ice Nemesis/Laing DDC/EKWB 240 Loop (VRM>CPU>GPU), Noctua Fans.
Nas : i3/itx/2x4GB/8x4TB BTRFS/Raid6 (7 + Hotspare) Xpenology
