Between the G200 and G400 they were hiring, between the P and the next P?? they are firing. I won't be getting my hopes up.

This thread got my attention, esp. this part:
Haig: "Keep in mind our tradition of between next gen chips."
CaineTanathos: "Was the G400 a new generation compared to the g200 or an improved version ?"
Haig: "It was a new gen."
CaineTanathos: "there was less than 1 year between them, correct ?, interesting "
The next question lead to a "no comment"...

between G200 and G400 there was an G250
So you got:
G200 --> G250
G400 --> G450
[S]G800[/S] --> G550 (hmmz. no strikethrough text?)
Parhelia --> Parhelia1.5
Guess this means only one thing: Parhelia1.5 will be an slower version with some unique extra feature added (headcasting? )PIII 1Ghz|AbitSa6R|512mb Kingston|Matrox Parhelia 512 Retail|80gb WD & 30gb IBM 75gxp|Diamond MX300 A3d 2.0|36xcdrom|6x32AopenDVD|Sony DRU500A|Intel Pro 10/100 S|IIyama Vision Master Pro 450 | Celly 300a@450 'server' powered by a G400MAX

G250 wasn't really released through retail channels though - and was G550 that difference from G450?
Hopefully there might be a change of plan and Pitou will be put to the top of the queueMeet Jasmine.
