  • P800

So with the P650 and P750 announced, maybe the next thing (fixed Parhelia with bandwith saving technology) won't be the G800 but the P800? (Which we have been waiting for since the G400 Max was about 2 months old )

    Just a though

Is it really twice as fast as a G400MAX?

Is it good? thought about getting one myself, although it is not quite as cool as my nokia 7110

edit: the keyboard cover slides open when you push a button on the back (matrix style ), and it also automatically answers the phonecall when doing so. when you close the cover, it ends the call. since i dont do much besides phoning on my phone, its all i need, and its always cool to take it out, open it, and hold it to your ear in one smooth movement

Just a shame the cover contains the microphone, and the whole lot tends to break easily...

Still miss the wheel on the new Nokias though...

Have had the thing since it came out, which is almost 3 years now, and it still works. the cover came of once or twice, but i only had to put it back on. and part of the display doesnt work, because i dropped it too often (repairing that would be more expensive than a new phone though), but i never really missed that.

And youre right, the wheel is awesome

Yeah, I sure do miss that wheel.

I once was a 7110 owner, but eventually I crossed over to the p800. Which is a very nice phone.

The next product to come from Matrox will sport the following:

                1.14 terapixel fillrate
                740GB memory bandwidth
                4168-bit processing
                DirectX - 10.1 compliant
                OpenGL 2.0 compliant
                512-bit color throughput
fully dynamic and independant geometry engine capable of 740 billion triangles/sec
                pixel/vertex shader 9.0 engine
I am the 1 and the 0, the bit and the byte.

                  LOL DedicatedFan3D

Some mistakes there... you are trusting Matrox to make OGL 2.0 drivers?

And Matrox doesn't have any RnD... lol... without RnD they can't go too far from now

I have a better chance at porking J-Lo.

Matrox is currently losing ~ 4 engineers/week and I am told there is no stopping to the exodus.

The next chip that is Dan Wood's roadmap will have enough 3D to do whatever Win64 is going to need.

I hope that means full DX9!

hmm... Dan Wood going for minimal? Dman... he's screwing Matrox up. (And BTW if anybody sees Dan Wood, tell me to drop by and see what we have to say to him, before you flame him....)

Actually I was wrong on those specs, the fillrate is 4.14 terapixels/sec and I was told they were developing OpenGL 4.0 specs and that the product will be fully compliant.

Although, both times I was told those specs the Matrox employee also said he needed to pack his suitcase for Heaven's Gate's second go around. Also mentioned something about the green monster that crawls out of his dick and tries to eat his wheaties......

So TAKE THAT WITH A GRAIN OF SALT!!!
