Originally posted by UtwigMU Now since the P650 and P750 pretty much cover the spot between G550 and Parhelia and they could just increase P750 to 128MB if it becomes neccessary, this means they'll release something faster next year.
You could have said the same when the G450 was released...
I predict that Matrox will leave the 3D gaming market alltogether.
Their next card will only support the bare minimum that the next version of windows will require for it's 3d desktop.
Core2 Duo E7500 2.93, Asus P5Q Pro Turbo, 4gig 1066 DDR2, 1gig Asus ENGTS250, SB X-Fi Gamer ,WD Caviar Black 1tb, Plextor PX-880SA, Dual Samsung 2494s
I hope they evolve the Parhelia into a better gaming/pro card, as the Parhelia is presently the best balance there is an excellent balance between the two, but has quite a bit of room to improve.
I hope they will stay in the gaming market also, mainly because of the Surround Gaming. Matrox got me buying the other two monitors in the first place and I mainly bought them for Surround Gaming use. I'm not saying they would end up useless, if Matrox would drop the support for games, but I would still be very sad.
yeah lets face it matrox have finished competing in 3D, hopefully ati will take o surround gaming then i will retire my parhelia and enjoy great framerates, untill then i cant give up surround gaming. faa would be nice to see on an ati card too.
is a flower best picked in it's prime or greater withered away by time?
