    @Nappe1:

    @gangster: it's more like 25-100 on DX9 (guess why they put 4 chips...)

It might get released under the moniker Millenium P6000 (no, not like the tires -even if they are _good_ tires), they also thought of Quantium P6000 (Quantium being a new category, along with Millenium, G-series, Productiva, etc). Of course, nobody knows whether the Quantium P6000 might be released to the public. There were rumors about a well known arcade systems manufacturer using it in its systems...but nothing set in stone...anyway the thing might never see the light of day, given its power requirements at about the same level as the ones for a medium-sized third-world country (I'm not sure Intel has come up with an AGP spec that would classify as "Medium-sized-third-world-country-powersupply-ready", yet). There's hope in the PCI-E specs though as the board could come with a special adapter that would fit on the next PCI-E slot to draw power (it will take two slots anyway, due to its PCB design). Lastly, there might even be a "3D" version, showing the magic of M's engineers as they combine the processing power of multiple PCI-E adapters in a sly way. But it's too early to say...
    And 50-50 on DX9x compatability...?

    MAN! NOW BLEW MY COVER! D*MN, How many times I have to say it?? Try to keep LOW PROFILE!

    ah, Just messing with you guys. In fact, I haven't followed any companys actions lately. I kind of losed my interest. I have no idea what Matrox is up to ( I hope they are up to something, or soon they will be up to completely nothing.)

    Still, this was a good one. Kurt, thanks for that.

    *bump*

    just wondering... did you guys know that nVIDIA has adopted the RSN in their GFFX line? (hint: do you know that you can delete a leaf on Dawn and show her "thing"? I am guessing nVIDIA programmers have too much time on their hands... haha jk)

    Anyways. In that case I think Matrox's next card should implement "RSN 2.0+", the new extention requirement in DX 10!!!!
