Sounds very interesting, though the links went dead before I got a chance to look, I have seen some that sound rather familiar.

I've got pretty bad vision (thank god for thin lenses), but I can easily detect even the smallest change in center and peripheral vision. Not sure if I can see the corners when standing directly against a wall...
