BTW what's the best way you know of persuading people to apply an update as soon as they are told to, rather than them waiting until it becomes mandatory?

Roll it out over the network so that as soon as they logout/in it is installed. Then they have no choice

It's not down to me, unfortunately. The Computer Centre 'advertise' updates using SMS and typically give users 3 months to manually initiate the update at a convenient time, after which it becomes compulsory.

Personally I'd like their PCs to electrify the keyboard at 5.30pm and then do a reboot, but apparently I'm not allowed
