I have had two neighbours. One was Krapp (and was well-named) and the other Kuntz. I also have a friend called Verge which, in French, means an appendage usually found hanging (sometimes protruding in a state of excitement) on men just above where the legs meet.

In my Scottish youth, the phone book contained a number of Smellie-s. Guess what we did as 8-year olds; we thought it was hilarious.

I was also very tickled in that one of the main opticians in Edinburgh was I. Seymour.

    These are all genuine.

You know that habit of Chinese immigrants, where they will take a very mainstream English sounding first name and couple it with their Chinese surname? I wonder how many poor, naive souls with the surname "Ho" have chosen the first name of "Randy."

I've now seen two absolutely hilarious chinese restaurant names (on the 'net): "Fook Yue" was one, the other I can't remember.

Hilarious names... Wilma Ficken (pronounced like "will 'mal ficken", which means "wanna fsck")
