Yeah, I've seen some pretty cool henna work. And it wears off after a few weeks, tops.

My wife has 3 tattoos. One on the outside of her foot right above the bottom. It is of a rose following thelength of her foot. Looks really good there. Simple and elegant.
The second is a rose bud on the inside of her boob. It's OK, nothing special, but not bad either.
The last is on her back. It is fairly big. It is on her left shoulder blade. The tattoo is of an Indian Girl and it is the best tatto of any face I have ever seen. The feathers are amazing looking. They are actually soft looking. No lines like on most tattoos. It is one of the best tattoos I have ever seen. We copied it from an inidan plate. I'll see if I can find the pic and post it. Personally, the tattoo could have been in a better spot, but it looks so good you look past that.
As for me, well, I have a bunch of tattoos My best tattoo is on my thigh. It is a skull made out of naked women. It came from a picture I saw in a Hustler magazine. It was actually an article about the 'night stalker'. For that reason alone, I morally almost did not put it there but finally said **** it. I am not the 'night stalker' and I like the picture.

Ladies and gentlemen, take my advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.
In my humble opinion, art is great. I love art. But a beautiful body is the art of God and nature and the abode of the soul. Tattooing is like covering up this masterpiece and defacing it. You have to live in that body for the rest of your life too (or live with it if it belongs to your mate.) Canvas is the place to paint pictures. You can also throw out the canvas if it doesn't turn out like you wanted. I knew a guy once who got a tattoo and they started too high on his arm. They just burned a big scar there to erase it.
A lot of my friends say that the body is the canvas of your life, so you might as well make it yours. A lot of them designed the work that they have on their bodies, so they are showing their mind's creations. Is that not also what God gave them?
And they can do amazing stuff with lasers and/or chemical peels.

Why not just use henna and avoid the multi-thousand dollar laser treatments? Imagine how many starving urchins in Zamoolieland could be saved with the money you would spend to undo the unwanted spoils of a foolish decision. They should require people to get the thing done in henna first. I would bet most of them wouldn't make it permanent.

That wouldn't stop me!
You can still love the person but hate the tattoo.
Here is the way I see it...You only live once, you might as well hae fun. Getting a tattoo is is no big deal and if you dont like it, it's not like its going to kill you if it's there. I have one I really don't like but it doesn't stop my life by any means. The cool thing about it is the fact that it's something about you, yourself. Noone can take that away from you. It's part of who you are. Just like a haircut, piercings, clothing, etc...
You just have to go in with the attitude that its there for life. But in all honesty, it really means nothing to most everyone else, so you have to like it for yourself.

it seems like every girl at uf has a tatoo on the small of their back. it used to be cool and unique but now i think it marks you as a sheep permanently. however saying that i am going out with a girl with a very small fairy tatoo below the dressline on the small of her back and it is not too bad but i would prefer it if it was not there, still it means a lot to her so its ok.
Anyone been with a girl who's had their tongue pierced???
lol i know what you are thinking, it is good isn't it
