    Communism was idealistic system that was the goal of socialist states.

    It implies all supply met and no currency, etc....

    All ex-so called communist countries considered themselves socialist.

    What you consider socialist are in fact social democtratic values which are not against capitalism (Scandinavia).

    Also capitalism has manny degrees, that end in the liberal capitalism of 19th century or still present in some south-american countries.

      What Utwing said - communism was never achieved. All socialist countries started with a dictatorship. Marx/Engels said there would be a dictatorship of the people - this has not happened. Marx and Engels simply were too out of touch with reality to see that power corrupts, and as it does, those dictatorships turned out to be just ordinary dictatorships which gave themselves a fancy name and had a system of fake democracy and false ideology as their legitimation. Us calling them communistic is just as wrong as they themselves calling them socialistic.

      And to say "european socialist liberal media" is just ignorant, and offensive towards both liberals and the media (though I don't have too much respect for the latter).
