  • Dog survives being hit by a car, a gunshot wound and a deep freeze.

In an amazing story of canine survival California-style, a dog named Dosha has shown she has nearly as many lives as the average cat.

Stupid moron cop thinks the dog is critically injured. Decides to put him out of his misery. Shoots him in the head. Dog gets put in a freezer in a morgue. Doctor opens the door and the dog is alive and standing.

Stupid moron cop wrongly shot the dog and didn't even do it right further traumatizing the animal. Maybe the moron should be shot in the face and stuck in a freezer for two hours.

*P.S. I have nothing against cops. This ****ole is just a freaking moron.*

OMG That's a very terribly sad story...

But its really amazing tho... that dog has very strong will...

You are right... that single cop is an idiot... yea... "decides to put him out of his misery". Next time, when a person was hit by a car, maybe the cop should shoot that person too!

I saw this story on TV tonight. I think it was on Inside Edition. I'm not sure where that show comes from, but it's mostly entertainment news. My mom was watching it while I was eating dinner.

The dog looks pretty healthy and frisky now, other than the healing gunshot wound in the back of its head, and the exit wound under it's jaw. Amazing that it came through being hit by a car, and a gunshot to the head, so well.

I can understand the cop's desire to end the dog's suffering, but if you're going to do that, make sure you do it right. Reminds me of that scene in "Me, Myself, and Irene" when Jim Carrey is trying to put the cow out of it's misery...

Makes you wonder about the whole situation and the way the media wants you to see this story, or at least the relationship between the dog and the owner. You never know until you hear the whole story, but either way it's a sad story.

Someone should shoot that cop in the head to ease the suffering of the public he was misappointed to serve.

Only problem is, even with a much better shot, the euthanasiast would probably miss his peabrain.

I think some of the blame has to put on the dog owner as well. Considering it's a growing puppy, you never know when he'll get big enough to jump the fence, so she should have kept the dog tied to something in the yard. I think that's why they're concidering ticketing her for that. Obviously the cop made a terrible decision, but the dog's owner certainly should take a large part of the blame as well.

I can't believe you guys are blaming the cop. He was doing what he thought was the right thing. He is probably extremely upset himself at this time and he has people like all of you making him feel like shit for his decision. You all make it sound like he did it on purpose or something. Just be glad the dog is alive and well, yes I said well. The dog looks really good and will probably be just fine.

I'm sure he was doing what he thought best. I agree with agallag that some (if not a large part of the blame) does reside with the owner for not making sure the dog was secure in the first place.

Remember it was hit by a car before the episode with the cop

However I am happy to know its going good

It's like I said before, we don't always hear the whole story, only what people WANT us to hear, and it's usually a part of the story that strikes the biggest note in our hearts and that's probably what they were going for. Remember that only the GOOD stories get published, the ones that people will most liekly find the most interesting.

We all read the same article and all have the same amount of information yet we still don't know the WHOLE picture and you can't really make a judgement call until you've heard all sides.

You never just hear about the dog who got hit by a car or the dog that was put down, stories like that are usually too boring to make it in the news, it's the stuff that WOW's people that gets the most publicity. That's the way the news works.
