Looks like a Rhinoceros Beetle. Is yours as big as the one on this guy's shoulder?

I didn't say it was a vegetable, I said it was vegetable (as opposed to animal, mineral or abstract). A world of difference. In any case, the barrel cactus has saved countless lives in the Mexican desert.
