      Very much so.

But then again. I'm biased. Anna Paquin... :: drool ::

if that was your reasoning then what did she do different than the first?

I liked it cause they actually showed wolverine fighting like he should be! And overall there's way more action.

            Um... Yes?

But no, I was - *ahem*, AM an avid X-Men reader since X-Men 1. So even if X2 panned. I would still be biased.

Anna Paquin was just the icing on top.

Other than that, I and many others (non X-Men readers) loved it.

Ok, so maybe his fighting skills still aren't like they are in the comics, but at least it's an improvement from the first flic.

Very true. But then.... nah. I'm not one to throw spoilers when someone around hasn't watched it.

Oh, c'mon. These threads are full of spoilers. I was just happy to see Wolvie LUNG-STABBING people.

Just saw the movie yesterday, it was alot better than the first one, which was a decent movie to start with. Plenty of *snick*AAHHHHH*snick* action, and some nice, old fashioned gruesome deaths.

It is a good thing Magneto never figures out that water (and many other things too) is diamagnetic, I.E. that it is repelled by magnetic fields. I've seen videos of experiments where they levitated live insects and small frogs without harm by using a very strong magnetic field in a tube. And I didn't think it was very likely that Prof. X would walk (err, roll) so easily into a trap like he did.

                        Well, it all depends
"Old" Magneto wasn't nearly as powerful (about the same lvls as in the movies) before he was turned into a child by Mutant Alpha and later Aged to his prime by Erik the Red (an alias he later used him self )
But after that he got strong enough to defeat (the then inhibited) Phoenix, stand up to being hit repeatedly in the face by Collosus

The action was good, but one bit was a bit "SUSS".

When the pyro lets loose on all the cops...they come out a bit blackened, not the chared corpses they should have been

The way that fire was burning, it was more concussive than immolating. They were generally knocked clear of the flames.

Hey, he's a young Pyro - he'll get better at it later.
