-31, -53 yields a similar pattern. The thing about -42, -53 is that it could go for 1,000,000 or 100,000.. it's pretty variable.

Has anyone managed to get level 9 to finish yet? I got 997,000 distance using 72,11.. it had crept to within 4mm of the hole and I thought it would go in eventually, but it stuck to a damn planet.

SF? Have you had any better luck?
