The PIT's weather prediction

Early this week I made the prediction that the winds would go to a more northly direction. This has been confirmed by this evenings weather forecast.
Now how do I know that it will happen?
Well my neighbours Rowan trees are in flower. Every year for last twenty years, bar one, the wind has gone to the north and blown all the flowers into my ponds.
So for the next week I'll have to clear out loads of rotting petals and claen out the filters.
Now for the next prediction. As soon as the last petal has blown off the wind will go back to the south and it will get warmer.

I hate the damn things. I've got to fish them out otherwise they sink and rot and cause algae to build up. Hopefully I'm wrong and the wind will swing to the south and blow them into my neighbours pond instead. They are her trees.

Why don't you put some kind of mesh over the pond for the few weeks?

It's going to have to be very fine mesh if I do that. besides I wouldn't be able to see anything if I did that. How about an Axe to the trees.

I'm told copper nails work quite well at killing trees...and not much evidence visible until its too late
