I can attest to the fact that overuse of Aspertame can cause...
Tremors
memory loss (common toxicity effects)
numbness or tingling of extremities
chronic fatigue
insomnia
blood sugar control problems (e.g., hypoglycemia or hyperglycemia) (see note)
excessive thirst or excessive hunger
joint pain
note: I have reactional Hypoglycemia tho I do not believe Aspertame causes blood sugar problems... had this long before they invented this sick/twisted artificial sweetener (may I slap the norom(s) at the FDA now?
this is after consuming a 2 liter bottle per day for many years

Do you puke soon after drinking, like 30 mins, or more, or less???

If you are in need of a non caloric beverage, try www.DietRite.com (any flavor). This contains Acesulfame Potassium (Sunett®Brand) artificial sweetener and it does not have the side effects aspertame does.

Here's what I managed to find on it.
Is acesulfame potassium safe?
Acesulfame potassium’s safety is supported by more than 90 studies conducted over 15 years. In addition to the U.S., it has been reviewed and determined safe by regulatory authorities in about 90 countries -- including Canada, the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, Italy and Belgium -- by the Joint Expert Committee on Food Additives of the World Health Organization, and by the Scientific Committee for Food of the European Union.
