Just saw a program on this.

Absolutely insane!
150mph+ on skiis

This is actually faster than you would achieve jumping out of a plane (about 125 mph)!

Yeah, well I'm gonna build my own lunar space lander! With blackjack aaaaannd Hookers! Actually, forget the space lander, and the blackjack. Ahhhh forget the whole thing!

They had this in the olympics a few years ago.. I think it was just a demonstration sport.
