Good luck Liz! Personally, I don't think you did anything really wrong. Most women would (and should in this day and age) get a bit freaked out when someone you've only spoken to online shows up at your door. If it doesn't work out, don't feel so bad about it. Don't blame yourself too much. Relationship is a thing that involves two people.

Perhaps, you were not getting right feedback, perhaps he was not the one for you, perhaps you didn't plan his visit.

Also I think people that selfishly leave like him want to attract attention. IMO relationship - you cannot stay on the kindergarten level and count/measure what each person did how manny times. If you fall into that game, pretty soon it becomes hell.

Again, don't blame yourself, you took time for him, you went to California.

You came more than half way accross. If he doesn't want to come his half way, well fsck him.

WRT to life: We all had a bad period now and then. Just look back. Now you laugh to things that you thought were grave problems when they happened.

I know it sounds corny, but time heals.

Listen to yourself, find out what you want, don't let others push you arround. Do the little things that are important to you like favourite bar, dress, walk...

Like someone above said: more people love you than not, so get your self confidence back on track, wear something nice, go out, spend time with good friends.

well it took me 14 hours, 5 cities, and two pot smoking jamaican shuttle bus drivers to get me here


haha funny shit. i was with them for 3 hours, and they kept dropping people off and picking them up, they gave me their phone numbers haha incase patrick didnt call me i could go out with them. haha good lord.


i have been ignored thus far since ive been here. he keeps sendin my calls into vm. so i am over it really. im just bored now ni a town i am not familiar with

i gotta a hotel 10 miles from san jose in santa clara. yahoo maps said it was like 3-5 miles.. can you say "WRONG YAHOO"


lol.. so there is nothing here and i decided finally to stop waiting for a phone call and i was going to walk to san jose but i ran into this internet cafe. never been to one of these before.

well the weather has been perfect. i cant get a rental car, so ive been stuck in the hotel since saturday at 4pm. oh WELL. lol

all i can do is laugh now

abiout this whole situation.


i talked one of my friends whos patricks friend online a second ago and she is still trying to get him to call me.

we will see what comes of that. im over trying to tell him im sorry.

i now just want him to take me around san jose cos im bored outta my ever flippin mind.



the conversation with christine went like this:

Christine: listen.. I had a long talk with him last night

Christine: i tried very hard to get him to call you
Christine: and he just would not
Lizzie: thats awful
Christine: he said this: You were dishonest with him about yourself.. and he was dishonest with you about how he saw you.
Christine: and he is very upset about how shitty he was treated

Christine: he said no because he told you it was over.
Christine: I tried everything I could to get him to atleast just call you
