It's not weak when there's children in the same room.

Your opinion is also noted, and is as weak as the above.

If you don't want to view websites with some words in them, install the appropriate software on your computer and leave everyone else the choice.

I think some criticism might be justified here, but one counter-point I would make to Kruzins argument is that he should be aware of what his kids are watching no matter WHAT thread hes viewing in The Lounge. Since my return to MURC (The Lounge is new to me), I've noticed that this forum is more relaxed, meaning more jokes and more dirty words. Thus, there should be very little need to put warnings on threads without pics since a lot of threads in here could potentially be something you don't want your kids to see. If Kruzin is worried about kids watching over his shoulder, he should just put his foot down and tell them NOT TO DO THAT. Very simple. That being said, since I respect the forum and the people here, I will put warnings on humor threads that deserve it from now on, just to cater to the lazy parents.

Is it me or are you just a ****ing dickhead lately? It seems like you just want to come on the forums and flame people and shit on everyone's thread. Please, go take a look at yourself in the mirror, think about what you've wrote here lately and try to change a little. My mom always told me that if I met 3 ****oles in one day, I should probably take a look at myself. I think you should take this advice.

My point is that I wasn't really given the choice, as I was not warned that there was adult material being linked.
I have no desire to install any nanny software, as I don't visit child inappropriate sites when my kids are present. That doesn't mean I don't wish to visit them when they are not present.
In the years I have been at MURC, it has always been a "family friendly" place. I don't think it's too much to ask that a poster show the courtesy to make it clear when a thread or link contains adult material.
Now pull that stick out of your anus, and try to view things objectively, as a parent (though I truely hope you never actually further spoil the gene pool by reproducing).

Damn! You mean it's okay for your children to walk into the room and read <B>that<B>!?! And Daddy wrote it?

Some people deserve considerate and moderate responses. Others deserve to be ignored because they are just talking. Others deserve flames because they are ****oles. You get what you deserve. Actually, I don't feel I have flamed in this thread (unlike others). I just stated my opinion.

I don't post for the hell of it or for conversation. I usually only post when I have a strong opinion or someone addresses me directly. If you feel I only flame, you must have read my posts in the temporary forum on politics. Maybe you need to be a little more observant if you want to generalize about anyone.

And to the other poster (I guess he's a moderator, although you wouldn't know it by reading his posts) - I guess some people just can't post in an adult manner. If you really can't, don't bother. You just look childish and stupid. If that's your nature, I guess you just can't help yourself.

I will side with Rock and agree that some criticism might be justified here, but only because he agrees to this. It is his thread. However, It is my opinion that alot of leeway, particularly when it involves linked text, is desirable in this forum.

If any of you wish to continue this, take it into a PM.

This is a thread about some amuzing adult content text files,.

Keep it clean, and if its not clean, at least let folks know.
