Nah, they won't eat god's creatures... they'll only eat the fruit once it has fallen dead from the tree....

I doubt it would be a positive impression though.

How do those fruits explain all the healthy lions and tigers and bears (oh my!) who only eat meat? Morons.

I haven't read it thoroughly, but I too think patients have way too little choice of how they are treated, what drugs are administered, what they do, eat, etc.

So, I say yes, patients should have WAY more say and choice in health care (and more responsibility, too - at least in germany you are treated like a little child in hospital, IMHO). Of course, this opens the way for all kinds of stupid behaviour, but it's not as if this wasn't the case already (refusal of blood donations for religious reasons being the one that comes to mind first - and yes, of course it is arguable if this is just stupid of if you prevent eternal doom with it).

But why would you want to make a positive impression on her? With a little luck she will just leave and bugger someone else with her little contract

Ok ok, I get it now.

Still wouldn't eat a placenta though.

                  WOW.

Doctors ARE too intrusive. We were never offered a chance to bank the umbilical cord blood, something I would have liked to do because of the viable fetal stem cells it contains... which, since they came from Julie and Logan, they would have every right to use in a therapeutic manner later in life.
?? So you'd want to save that blood? What exactly can it do for you?

Now for some of thier lame rules...
                  2. I will have no perineal shave-prep.
Ewww. IMO, they should be shaved ANYWAY.

                  Doh.

Ahh the ideal occupation. That's the one thing that might actually beat painting bikinis onto Sports Illustrated models.

And Gurm.. perineal massage during her pregnancy would have helped avoid that tearing in the fist place. You really need to watch more porn.

Banking the umbilical cord blood allows the unfetterd use of those stem cells. Since they are PART of Logan/Julie, there are no legal, moral, or ethical restrictions on their use once our permission is given.

Today, this is of very little use. But as stem cell research continues, there are a million possible uses for those cells. It would have been nice to get to keep them.

I didn't think that there were any 'stem' cells in the umbilical cord...

                              Paddy:

Sure there are. Pretty much the last place they linger. Placenta and umbilical cord. But regardless, it has other benefits. It's YOUR blood. The ultimate transfusion material, and plenty of it if surgery is necessary during the first few months of life, etc. etc.

                                Sorry mate, I don't follow???

Are you saying that was plenty of Logan's blood in the placenta and umbilical cord, and that you would like it to have been kept in the case of him requiring a blood transfusion?
