  • To all the Belgique out there!!!

Hi guys, I need a simple help...

I have to find a way (for a girl) to go from Charleroi Airport to Bruxelles, but the belgian's train site is all in french and hollan, so I can't understand it too much.

She'll be at Charleroi Airport at 10:30 (more or less) the 17/07 and need to be in Bruxelles Central Station before 11:17 (the better) or 11:50(the worse).

    Any help really appreciated!!!

(maybe I'll gain a bit from this )

I'm not sure which station in Charleroi you need.

      This is for Charleroi Sud:
(departure-time in Charleroi, arrival time in Brussel-Central, duration of the trip, day, "rechtstreeks"=direct, train number)

      09:34 10:24 00:50 donderdag 17/07/2003 Rechtstreeks [3308]
      10:07 10:55 00:48 donderdag 17/07/2003 Rechtstreeks [2010]
      10:34 11:24 00:50 donderdag 17/07/2003 Rechtstreeks [3309]
      11:07 11:55 00:48 donderdag 17/07/2003 Rechtstreeks [2011]
      11:34 12:24 00:50 donderdag 17/07/2003 Rechtstreeks [3310]

      This is for Charleroi Ouest:
      10:00 10:55 00:55 donderdag 17/07/2003 met 1 overstap [4559][2010]
      10:01 11:20 01:19 donderdag 17/07/2003 met 1 overstap [4580][2131]
      11:00 11:55 00:55 donderdag 17/07/2003 met 1 overstap [4560][2011]
      11:01 12:20 01:19 donderdag 17/07/2003 met 1 overstap [4581][2132]
      12:00 12:55 00:55 donderdag 17/07/2003 met 1 overstap [4561][2012]

From Charleroi Ouest you have to change trains in Charleroi Sud. This is the source for the hourtables in English

(at the bottom of the webpage is language selector, it supports Dutch, French and German)

      Hope this helps...

I'm not sure if Brussels South (Charleroi Airport) is located near Charleroi Sud or Charleroi Ouest?

I don't know either. I have found there is a shuttlebus from Charleroi Airport to Brussels South station.

Oh, Drizzt: Charleroi Airport is called Brussels South by Ryan Air, this does not mean that it is Charleroi South. This may be important to know, all these stations are different train stations:
                Charleroi Ouest
                Charleroi Sud
                Brussels/Bruxelles North (= Noord)
                Brussels/Bruxelles South (= Zuid = Midi !)
                Brussels/Bruxelles Central (= Centraal)

                  Ok, I'm an ****ole!
I was in hurry, and I mystaped the question. The b-rail site is in english, too, I know...

Problem is, I wanted to write "the belgium tram and bus site is in french"... Sorry, guy!

However, we'll take a look at the train infos you have provided, even if I have doubt about them...the girl is heading for Rotterdam, but her plane land in Charleroi.
If she leaves from Charleroi using train to go directly to Rotterdam, the train arrives in the afternoon at 14:38, after 3 hours and 38 of travelling (which it's a lot slow!!!) (and an higly expensive ticket)

If she can reach Bruxelles before 11:17 or 11:50, she can take a train that bring her to Rotterdam in 1 hour and 40 (which it's a lot faster) (and with a low cost ticket).

Damn...I wish she doesn't go and stay here in the office bouncing her boobs around!
(nice boobs, I have to say...)

(Jorg, can I send a beer to you via Paypal? )

                      Keifront:
Now that is the answer I would also have given...

                      Drizzt:
I think the easiest thing would be to take the shuttlebus to Brussel South; from there it should be no problem getting on the right train.

(oh, I'm not registered on PayPal )
