Identify me a choral piece

At the beginning of the Adam F and Redman song 'Smash Smething', and an old Evanescence demo, there is the intro to what I can only presume is a pretty classic choral piece.

I had originallty thought that it was carmena beurana but i downloaded it this week and whilst similar it was not the same.

Anyone know what the piece is?

It's a piece entitled "O Verona" from Baz Lehrmann's "William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet".

The composer is... (had to go look this up) Craig Armstrong.

It is HIGHLY derivative of Orff.

nothing ultimate there ... i'd call it "Tiny G800 FAQ" at best It doesn't tell anything about the G800 ... especially no pictures.

A quick Kazaa search showed a dozen copies of "O Verona (reprise)" but no actual copies of the main portion of the song, despite several tracks labeled as such. Bleh.

Oh, and when I say "highly derivative of Orff", I mean "stolen outright from segments of Carmina Burana".

You can tell I have a high opinion of Mr. Armstrong.

I found one, eventually. And there was me thinking that it was the start to some kind of larger piece. Ah well.

Ta for the heads up again - it seesm that the non reprise version was on disc 2 of the soundtrack.
