Currently 56k, Telenordia for €34/year coupled with EuropeOnline Satellite for €250 / year.

    This fall I'll get 10Mbit for €14 / month.
That has unfortunately a 9GB limit for external traffic, 20GB for internal / month.
Internal includes most ISPs in Sweden.

    Additional traffic is $14 for another 9GB / 20GB.

Hopefully I'll be able to keep my sat dish and reduce the load on my landline.

For the moment, I'm on ADSL 2500/768 for €49/month.

Will be trading up to a 26Mbit VDSL for €40/month in about 2 months. No transfer limit, no closed ports, no forced firewalls.

50 euros for an ADSL 256/128 kbps. Common downtimes, DNS erros and slower than advertised ... and it goes thru a transparent proxy
The ISP is Wanadoo but it rents the line to Telefonica who have the monopoly in Spain.
The best thing is that my ping when playing online won't go below 120, no matter where is the server located. That's great if you don't wanna be hit by those rockets very often not nice if I'm the one firing them though

drslump, ask them if you can get fastpath, or if they can disable interleaving for you (both the same). Will give you 50ms better pings instantly.

                  @dbdg - you are joking, right? £108?

I'm at 1024/256 on NTL for £35/month. The fast connection means I can often work from home effectively so it pays for itself in saved petrol costs

They won't even listen to us, that's the problem when a company have the control over the 99% of the market

drslump, it was the same here with Telekom/T-Online, but after years of waiting, you can now get fastpath for 5 eur/month (yes, we actually pay extra for them to DISABLE error correction! )

No, Nildram, got a business account with them, not sure why anymore though

It has however never gone down and we do get eight indivudual ip's with the router, starting to wonder now though.

@GuchiGuh no, So-Net was not around when I was looking for a new ISP. I will keep an eye on them if I ever need to upgrade, but you have to be cautious with small ISP's, some don't last or they simpley can't maintain the rated speeds...

I have iinet Blink adsl account, I am suprised you only have a 56k account

I am in no hurry to change tho, I rarely hit that limit, and when I do it has a "soft limit" and "speed shaping", so if I hit my max download it just slows down to 80k.

The good thing I like about iinet, is they are locally based and connect to all the local game server's with very good pings..and all local (WA) internet traffic is uncharged.
