"Perhaps they communicate by changing colour? Like those sea creatures .."
"Lobsters?"
"Really? I didn't know they did that."
"Oh yes, red means help!"

Perhaps early in the game, yes, but later, when you are running low on minerals, templars are a pretty good investment. One neat trick to do with templars is to freak out your enemy at his base when 12 carriers come swarming in, drawing his templars, ghosts, or defilers over to deal with them (and spending all their energy in the process), to find that 10 of the carriers are holograms, and your REAL group of 12 carriers has started destroying your base from the other side (preferably the side with your buildings supporting ghosts, templars, zerg flyers, or defilers, which need to go down first. )

Terrains, the race I loaf to play with. The only point I can see them mounting a good offensive is at the battlecruiser stage. The tanks are quick to be destroyed by air or fast ground units. Large quantities of marines might do something in the early stages. The wraith, or whatever's called, is a mediocre gas consuming unit. Nukes have a 50% chance of successful deploy. The valkyre can do a fast gurdian killing...
Wow, you'd better learn terran.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.
I think the real smart thing Blizzard could do should be to join with Games Workshop using SC engine to make a real multiplayer game over the Warhammer 40K world. THAT, would be amazing!
Amazing in it would be that someone releases 2d game even now
Seriously, not likely to happen. But perhaps what has left from Freecraft will become someday basis for such game in Warhammer style (just style, not adaptation I think)
Argfh money maps... I enjoy terrain maps, if they're fair - it's nice to be able to use the terrain to your advantage, creating choke points etc, and to have to deal with limited resources, otherwise it' just a fragfest. Plus, it looks better
Zerg-cheap, fast, just send in
Protoss-Expensive, slow, mass army
Terran-micro, micro, micro.....
I suppose once terran defence has been set up properly and some higher tech units are made, terran are pretty hard to beat.
