  • Somebody Save Me!!!!!

"Pride and Prejudice" is on A&E (Arts & Entertainment) this weekend. And since it's the wife's favorite book and mini-series, guess what I get do all weekend.

    Stupid farg'n period piece drama.

Excuse me while I die a slow and painful death.

Wonderful.....you get to spend a whole night watching not only a period piece but one by Jane Austen. That's like the way I go through when my wife sees Little Women on the channel preview .

I'll knock down a brewski in your honor

Really? Thanks for the heads up, think I'll check it out. The thing about chick flicks is there are usually lots of chicks in them. (And I'm too secure in my manhood to be offended by Jane Austen)

Checked it out.. hmmm... nope. Chicks are too ugly and wearing far too many clothes.

Now if they had had any brains at all they would have cast Kate Winslet in this.. she actually got me to sit through all of Sense and Sensibility.

btw, Jammers.. I'm watching The Punisher on DVD now.. highest body count of any non-war movie.

Even more than 'The Killer'? Wow, I'm very impressed.

The problem with period pieces is that they are VERY BORING.

"Hello, I am rich. Let the women fight over me now."

"Ohh he's so rich ... I mean handsome."

"I hate him ... but secretly I will win him over."

Oh boo *%##! hoo. At least the Dad is funny enough on the rare occasion he speaks that it's not all bad.

              Where's the guns and bikini's????

              Someone shoot me....
