    Ok, I'm hoping that there are some fellow LOTR fans out there, because I just saw this, and got excited! Only anouther couple of months until ROTK comes out, and just a couple of days i think until the theatrical version of TT comes out on DVD then the extended version should be out I think in Dec (correct me if I'm wrong on that bit...) anyway here it is:

    Yep. August 26 for the theatrical version (two discs, though with lots of extras - might actually be worth buying). NOVEMBER for the extended.

    There's also a trailer for ROTK floating around the filesharing networks. Low quality but interesting nonetheless.

      Yeah, downloaded the ROTK trailer myself... pretty cool. But the funny part was all the fake trailers I had to dig though to find the real one... the best was the hilarious "The Hobbit" trailer made from bits from Dragonslayer edited cleverly.

        Yeah, I bought both the theatrical and extended for FOTR, so I'm gonna do the same with TTT, once ROTK comes out we've already planned on having a huge viewing of all three extended versions from start to finish...oh yeah!!!!
