    In the Underworld, Vampires are a secret clan of modern aristocratic sophisticates whose mortal enemies are the Lycans (werewolves), a shrewd gang of street thugs who prowl the city's underbelly.     Seen some previews for it. I though it was going to be an awesome movie until the whole Romeo and Juliet love story. That plotline has been so overplayed it's digusting. The movie still may be good, but who knows these days.

            The preview played like the longest string of cliches I'd ever seen. Then, she had way to many bullets in that gun.

            I hope it's worth watching, but it probably won't be.

                  seem to be very very loosly based on Vampire : the Masquerade series.. at least the half life mod the film is based was..
                  correct me if i'm wrong..

                  but i would still prefer the books.

                          The plot sounds terribly cheesy (and not the GOOD kind of cheesy that makes you laugh), and what little previews I've seen look a bit silly, with some Matrix-like gunfight scenes in it. Doesn't look too promising.
