    John Ritter dies....

    Star of "Threes Company" at age 54 from a ruptured aorta caused by an undiagnosed heart defect.

    Ritter collapsed while filming an episode of his sitcom "8 Simple Rules ... For Dating My Teenage Daughter".

    He was the youngest son of country music and Western film star Tex Ritter.

    That's a shocker.
    Woke up to this news this morning, and couldn't believe it.

    He was just making his comeback, too, with the popular "8 Simple Rules" (a very funny show any parent of girls can relate to), and several appearences on Hollywood Squares.
    His humor will be missed...

      Even my liitle girl was shocked that the voice of clifford the big red dog was dead.
      2 weeks after the 16 yr old voice of calliou died.
      Yeah, well I'm gonna build my own lunar space lander! With blackjack aaaaannd Hookers! Actually, forget the space lander, and the blackjack. Ahhhh forget the whole thing!

          That is really sad. I grew up watching Three's Company. He will be missed.

              I looked at him as a latter-day Dick van Dyke when it came to pratfalls and having an attractive comedic personality.

              Sorry to say I don't see too many with those qualities today.

                I watch Three's Company every night. He is truly a funny person and a great actor. He will be sorely missed.
