DOA3 is the best fighting game ever made. It also has the best graphics I have ever seen for a console.
NBA Street is a lot of fun. If you like sports games this is worth the money.
THPS4 is good.

You don't buy the hardware for itself wanting to buy some games, you buy the thing on which the games you want to play run.
You do realize how many PlayStations were sold just for Final Fantasy VII, Gran Turismo, Metal Gear Solid, Resident Evil or Silent Hill, right?
