Looks like they are attempting to merge the classic 60's/70's muscle car design into the new design. Personally I think all the new Mustangs look like they are plastic toys. The Hot Wheel version looks more sturdy.
And that paint job looks UGLY.

Looks like it's a disguise. Just take a look on the last pic, the rear of the car is masked.

Indeed, and it's a good thing that they try to make the cars resemble their "ancestors". American cars made in the 90's and 80's generally look butt ugly, but the older ones are sweet lookin'.
But either way I don't think it'll handle like a nice german or italian sportscar.

I don't like horses at all - not since one bit my little finger nearly off when I was 3
I've seen some better pics somewhere else. all in all I think it's one of the best looking ones in the last 30 years.
However, I think my next one will be a 69 or 70.

I think this is very true. They look to me like large kitchen appliances on wheels.
I like the looks of this Mustang, although I'm not sure if white is the best color for this particular car.
I'm diggin the retro style. They'll still handle like crap and have an atrocious plastic interior, and be pretty quick in a straight line. Bad combo for someone who isn't a good driver.
here's a concept sketch based on some sightings of prototypes.

Not bad, except for those stupid wheels. One place those definitely don't belong is on a Mustang, they'll just slow you down.
