I went to that game and I didn't see any trouble, bar one bottle thrown from the Cardiff fans. So is it a case of the Media hyping it all up again??

It reminds me of one day while I was at the coast. Over looking the beach from the cliff. Nice sunny day when I got back home the Tv was going on about pitched battles between mods and rockers on the very beach I was overlooking. There was zilch it was full of familys making sand castles and sun bathing.

Going back to the game we had a complete dick head of a Referee who certainly got the crowd wound up which didn't help matters.

Reading the report, nearly all the potential trouble happened before and after the match, not during the match. Could it just be that you did not happen to be in the hot spots. The explanation of the delay in starting the game makes it clear that the problem was not in the stadium.

Had a look on United's forums and apparently there was a little trouble nearby after the match. I'll ask a few collegues who may have been in Sheffield that evening if they saw anything. At the moment it's looking like it's being blown out of proportion.

It also sounds that the Police caused quite a bit of the trouble as well judging by one or two of the comments.
