Hey, it's just not worth the bother. They don't want to hear about it because on any item that's under $2000 they're not making enough to bother with you. I hate to be rude, and I'm not saying that _I_ feel that way, but business is business. You'd have to want to buy a LOT of product to make it worth my while to get off my ass and circumvent the entire system (and these places have a SERIOUS system set up to deal with mail/web/phone orders) for one order.

And I know your point. You're like "well if they were willing I'll be a repeat customer, etc. etc." and I fully agree. There ARE places that are willing, but not many.

I don't pay tax, but I would still shop there for the same reasons if I did have to. Newegg is great.
