Heh, I was afraid I might come off sounding like I'm a animal rights activist. 
But as it is, I'm not against fur, eating animals, properly operated zoos, pets (normal pets, not tigers or anything else that would naturally eat something the size of a person 
), or anything of the sort, as long as it doesn't ruin the natural populations. With tigers, they're pretty much up s***creek because of human overcrowding and the "Eating tiger <insert random bodypart here> make you a god in bed" crap, so of course keeping a healthy captive population isn't a bad thing. The same thing is messing up plenty of other species too, and it's very often caused by the same idiotic reasons, like the classic Shark-fin soup.
The "white tigers" that S&R use(d) are far from a healthy population... they're really just a mutant strain of defective animals that's been maintained just because people think they look cool.
