Loads of piccies in the cache which I'm now deleting. Strangly downloaded when the machine isn't in use. Someones telling porkies. 270 spyware and wonder how many reg entries there are as I scanned from my own pc. The hard drive is removed from hers. One virus again.

Ran adware again when I put the hard drive back in her machine. Made sure it was disconnected from the internet while I did it. Over 100 various reg entries of spyware and highjack software.
Going to install her a free firewall.

Shes not bothered about them looking at porn as long as she doesn't see it. The last picture was downloaded when she was logged on yet she wasn't aware of it. Shes got two sons by the way who also have access.
The problem is they're probably clicking on everything that says see this blowjob etc and running programs rather than films. If they keep this up they'll end up downloading a programme that might download kiddie porn without their knowledge. I pretty sure the Law is then on them to prove their innocence.
I've installed Adware a firewall and tell her again to keep things updated and do weekly scans. I should done that last time but I knew she needed the computer back rapidly for her PhD work.

Seriously, you should have a talk with the sons and tell them you don't care how much pr0n they download, but they should be careful not to dl dialers and other malware.

Sadly I don't think they'd understand without a demo and I ain't going to do that.

The best way would be show them the evidance as I cleaned it. Too clean it I nead another pc and an internet connection and then do the updates once I've cleaned the harddrive. I can do this easily at home as I've got a router and drive caddy.

Against my advice they went with AOL and theres no way I'm installing that crap on my pc if I take it over there.
