ROFLIf there's artificial intelligence, there's bound to be some artificial stupidity.
Jeremy Clarkson "806 brake horsepower..and that on that limp wrist faerie liquid the Americans call petrol, if you run it on the more explosive jungle juice we have in Europe you'd be getting 850 brake horsepower..."

Blaming the restaurants, you gotta be kidding! Do people really do that? Man! It's like blaming the car manufacturer because you had an accident at 100MPH...
ROFL!Why SysAdmins like Unix?
unzip, strip, touch, finger, grep, mount, fsck, more, yes, fsck, fsck, fsck, umount, sleep.

Yes, blaming restaurants. The same money grubbing SOB responsible for several other "consumer" lawsuits in the news has mounted a campaign to get $$ out of Mc Donalds etc. Fortunately the judges he's drawn so far have tossed them out, but sooner or later...

You know, if fast food is unhealthy and causing a health problem (which it is) it should be taxed if it is above a certain fat content. Restaurants go for taste, but to do that they up the fat content. The restaurants' immediate response to this would be to find some synthetic fat substitute that would probably cause cancer though.

There are already synthetic fat stustitutes, mostly using right-handed molecules that the body can't absorb (the bodys enzymes are left-handed) and amide bonds in place of the ester bonds of triacylglycerols.
The problem is that the product liability laywers jumped them out of the box and caused the products using them to have poor sales. This of course means other companies are now reticent to use them in products.
The problem: if eaten in large quantitles they caused diarrhea, which of course "normal" fats will also cause in sufficient quantities.

Amen to that...these losers that get caught should have their names and faces published in newspapers worldwide, nothing would suit them better than a bit more traumatizing mockery.All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

Also, the other problem with these things is that fat-soluble nutrients will join in them, and be lost by your body. Though, you really shouldn't be eating so much olestra and so little vitamins that this is a problem.Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Down here Mobility Scooters are a must have with all these morbidly obese elderly (or just plain fat lazy folk)
Was at Golden Corral resturant last weekend when I noticed this woman doing laps around the buffet (and carrying three plates at once!) when she almost lost it all going over a speed bump (power cord floor cover thingy). That's stretching it a bit, Doc. I know people that certainly are affected by olestra, and it doesn't take very large doses (say, a football game's worth).

A good discussion of the subject can be found here;
